The blessings given through the new covenant, the law of life

God shed blood on the cross, and suffered extreme pain to give us the law of life. Let us examine what the law is, through what God saves us.

Lk 22:19-20 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,“This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

On the Passover, Jesus established the new covenant with His blood of sacrifice. The new covenant contains the sacrifice of Jesus who came as the Passover Lamb and carried our sins. The Passover of the new covenant is the law of life. Through the words of Jesus, let us see why the Passover of the new covenant is the law of life.

Jn 6:53-54  Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

If we do not eat Jesus’flesh and blood, do we have life? No!!

Our spirit was dead because of our transgressions and sins. However, what can we have when we eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood? We can have eternal life. So, we, who were dead, must have Jesus’ flesh and blood to live.

Then, how can we eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood? It is possible by keeping  the Passover of the new covenant. Therefore, the Passover of the new covenant is the definite law of life.

When we believe the new covenant, the definite words of God recorded in the Bible, and practice it, we can receive eternal life and enter Kingdom of heaven. Let us give thanks to Heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother who sacrificed to establish the new covenant the law of life.
