What is true faith

Keeping God’s commandments is a religious expression that shows through actions that you believe in the God who commanded you to keep those commandments. But many people and churches today who claim to believe in God claim that the commandments of God are abrogated and do not keep them. Still, they claim to love God and know Him well. But the Bible tells us that such people are liars.

1 John 2:3-6 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

What kind of people are we talking about who do not keep God’s commandments even though they know God?
He was said to be a liar and without the truth. Therefore, we can see that even if those who do not keep God’s commandments have their faith in God, their faith is a false faith that cannot save them.True faith in God is faith in holy keeping the commandments that God has commanded us to keep.
