The Importance of Passover
The Bible teaches that the purpose of faith is the salvation of the soul (1 Peter 1:8-9).
The salvation of the soul is the obtaining of ” eternal life.
God has promised eternal life to His saints (1 John 2:25), and He has also provided a way to obtain it: the Passover of the New Covenant.
The Passover is an ordinance commanded by God.
In the Old Testament, Jehovah, God the Father, commanded the observance of the Passover.
Exodus 12:10-14
Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it.
This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD’s Passover.
On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn-both men and animals-and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.
The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
‘This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD-a lasting ordinance.
In the New Testament, Jesus, God the Son, commanded us to keep the Passover.
Matthew 26:17-19
On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?’
He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’ “
So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
Jesus said that the Passover bread is His flesh and the Passover wine is His blood.
John 6:53-54
Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Only by observing the New Covenant Passover can we eat and drink the flesh and blood of Jesus and have eternal life.
Luke 22:19-20
And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.’
In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
If we do not keep the Passover, we will never have eternal life, for it is written, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.”
The New Covenant Passover contains God’s supreme love to bring mankind to heaven.

This is very important. So we don’t have a ability to avoid disaster. But If we keep the passover we can receive salvation to avoid disaster.

The new covenant is not a law that Jesus established spontaneously. About 700 years before Jesus came, he had already prophesied through the prophet Jeremiah that he would establish a new covenant. God acknowledged those who had the new covenant in their hearts as his people and said that he would be their God. The Passover of the New Covenant contains the amazing power of Jesus and His supreme and great love and sacrifice.
That is why Jesus’ will is so heart-wrenching for his children.
This means that not only the Church of God but also anyone who calls himself a child of God keeps the New Covenant Passover because it contains the sacrifice and love of Jesus. It is the natural duty of a child to keep the New Covenant Passover.
The New Covenant Passover, which Jesus established not for himself but for his children, is on the evening of January 14th according to the sacred calendar.
Celebrating holy ceremony on this day and participating in the bread and wine of the Passover of the New Covenant is truly keeping the will of the Father of our souls.
The Church of God is the only church in the world that observes the New Covenant Passover as established and taught by Jesus.
If you want to have eternal life, if you want to be saved (John 6:54), you must keep the law of God, the New Covenant of the Passover, by eating and drinking the body and blood of Jesus (Matthew 26:17-28. Luke 22:7-20) (Rom. 6:23) You will be freed from sin and death and gain eternal life.
I give thanks to Heavenly Father and Mother who established the Passover and gave us forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Jesus who is our god allowed us to keep the passover. He told that whoever wants to keep the passover can keep it. Let us not hesitate to send this precious truth to all the people who do not know about the passover. We should do it.
Many people believes Jesus for the eternal life.

God promised so many blessings through the Passover. The Passover gives us the forgiveness of our sins. Also, the Passover is the promise of God for eternal life. The Passover is the core teaching of the new covenant. When we keep the Passover, we can receive all the blessings God promised for our salvation.
