Passover And Freedom
In the time of Moses, God had pity on His chosen people, and commanded them to keep the Passover. When they kept the Passover in obedience to the words of God, they could be freed from the slavery of Egypt to make the journey to the Promised Land of Canaan.
Exodus 12:40 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions left Egypt. 42 Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come.
After 430 years of the slavery of Egypt, the Israelites could be set free through the Passover. God’s promise in the Passover was freedom. God allows freedom to whoever keeps the Passover.
Some might say that we are not in any kind of slavery. Therefore, we don’t have to keep the Passover. 2000 years ago, when Jesus promised freedom to the Jews, they responded saying that they didn’t need freedom because they are not slaves. To them Jesus gave this teaching to show that they are slaves.
John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” 34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
To the Jews who claimed to be free, Jesus said that they were spiritual slaves to sin and to death. And through the truth of the new covenant, Jesus promised the freedom from the sin and death.
John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
Jesus gave this promise of eternal life through the Passover the new covenant. When we keep the Passover, the bread and wine of the Passover come to represent the flesh and blood of Jesus through the precious promise of God. And whoever keep the Passover can take part in the flesh and blood of the Christ and receive freedom from the slavery of sin and death and, as the result, eternal life. We should take part in the promise of God by keeping the Passover.

Actually, we are sinner of heaven.
So,we don’t have any freedom.
We will die because of we don’t have freedom.
We will die because of we don’t receive forgiveness of sins.
But, only Christ AhnSahngHong came to this earth to allow the God’s commandments to give much blessing to us who are people of God.
We should keep the all commandments of God.
And we can receive much blessing of God.
This is a reason which the God commanded the Passover.
2000 years ago, Jesus established the passover of the new covenant for giving us freedom.

Just as the ancient Israelites were slaves in Egypt, we are also spiritually slaves to sin and death in this sinful world. Jesus freed us from slavery to sin through the Passover of the New Covenant. For us who are slaves of sin, the Passover is an incredibly precious truth. In the Old Testament era, we were liberated by observing the Passover with the flesh and blood of the lamb, and in the New Testament era, we were liberated by observing the Passover with bread and wine, which symbolized the body and blood of Jesus.
Passover is a feast commanded by God, not anyone else, to be observed from the Old Testament era to the New Testament era.
Just as the Israelites were able to be liberated from Egypt and head to Canaan by keeping the Passover, we too can escape the world of sin and move toward heaven by keeping the New Covenant Passover.
The reason why God, who did not hesitate to suffer and shed blood for the salvation of all mankind, has asked us to keep the Passover over thousands of years is so that we, who have no choice but to die, can gain eternal life and go to heaven where there will never be death again.

The Passover covenant established by God was not only kept during the Moses era.
The Passover covenant kept in the Old Testament gave us the blessing of not suffering disasters, and in the New Testament, Jesus established the New Covenant Passover and gave us the blessing of eternal life.
God’s ordinance that we must observe today will be this Passover.
I hope that we will all be blessed with eternal life by observing the Passover.
With the appearance of Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Passover shone into the world. And he rebuilt Zion, the Church of God, with the truth of the new covenant. The importance of Passover is recorded countless times in the Bible. Through Passover, freedom can be gained from sin and death.

We are all sinners feom heaven chained on the earth. Jesus said that truth will set us free and blood of Christ set us free according to John chapter 8 and Revelation chapter 1. These mean the truth that contains blood of Christ will set us free and that is the passover of the new covenant. That linked to the forgiveness of sins that Jesus promised in the passover according to Matthew chapter 26. By keeping the passover, we will receive the forgiveness of sins, be set free from sin and death and enter the kingdom of heaven!

The bible teaches that we were once angels in heaven. Because of our sins we committed in heaven we were cast down to this earth. To save the sinners God came and established the new covenant through his blood. And he gave us the forgiveness of our sins. We can be freed from the sin and death through the Passover. I give thanks to Father and Mother for allowing us to keep the Passover.
Mankind is a slave to sin. Additionally, mankind is enslaved to death.
In other words, humanity cannot escape death and sin.
There is no way for us to escape the fate of committing sins and eventually dying.
Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother came to this earth in the age of the Holy Spirit to take pity on us and show us grace.
