Those who Angels Protect

One of the most amazing scene in the bible is the three friends of Daniel who were put in to the furnace and survived the fire which was seven times hotter than usual. The bible testifies that an angel was with them and protected them from the fire.

Those who are protected by the angels sent by God cannot be harmed in any dreadful circumstances.

Isaiah 43:1 But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;the flames will not set you ablaze.

They are protected by God because they belong to God. Then who does God send angels to protect from disasters.

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

In another version of the bible, this is written: Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? God send His angels to the heirs who would receive salvation so that they could be protected. The heirs of salvation means the heirs of God. Then who are the heirs God send his angels for?

Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

The children of God are the heirs of God and they will receive salvation. For this reason, we also have to be the children of God to be under the protection of God. Then how can we be the children of God? Through the earthly things as copy and shadow, God is teaching us how to be the children of God.

Among many relationships on this earth, the family is unique in that the children receive life from the parent by receiving the flesh and blood of the parents. In the same way, the children of God are those receive the flesh and blood of God through the Passover. When we become the children of God through the bread and wine of the Passover, (which represents Christ’s flesh and blood), we can be the children of God and as children the heirs of God. To those who become heirs through the Passover, God send angels that they can be protected from the disasters.

Today there are so many disasters happening around us. And we need the protection of God more than anyone in any other times. Therefore, we must keep the Passover. Then God will say that you are mine, who belongs to me because we become my children, my flesh and blood. And God send us the angels as bodyguards to protect us. And we are protected from all the disasters.

Psalm 91:3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
