Remember Lot’s Wife
In the time of judgment, God teaches us that we should not look back like the wife of Lot. Since we were chosen out of the world and started our journey toward heaven, we should not have desire for the world and worldly things. Rather we must look forward and walk toward the heaven.
Luke 17:28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32 Remember Lot’s wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”
God strictly warns us that we must not go back to get things from the place we have lived. Whatever we leave behind, we should not turn back to get them. This means we should not look back and seek the things that we enjoyed while we are in the world without knowing God. Since we know what is expected in our life of faith, we have to leave behind everything that belongs to the world and follow God bearing our cross.
Luke 9:61 Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” 62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Since we made a decision to do the work of God, we must not look back and wish for the things we had left behind. Let us finish the journey which is laid out for us without looking back to the world.

The God appointed the judgement day.
And also God taught us the way to preparation
before the judgement day came.
We should follow the God our Savior.
And we can be saved.
Lot’s wife didn’t do God’s words. So she was turned into a pillar of salt. That’s like a today our salvation. If we have a dwell on the world we can’t recive a salvation of our soul. So we should look at the heaven. Work is also important. But Our salvaion of our soul more important. Then we must don’t forget heaven
Let’s not look back on the world and look at the mission given to us
What can we learn from example of history of Lot’s wife?
That time God hit the Sodom and Gomorrah with fire except Lot’s family.
Lot’s family moved to Zoar to escape disaster.
There is very urgent situation and God gave one command that is do not look.
What happened?
Lot’s wife was ignored and look back Sodom and Gomorrah in the middle of destroyed by fire.
She was became the salt pillar because she was not followed God’s commandment.
In the same way God let us know so many truth through the Bible but nobody paid attention these days.

Life on earth is important, but life in the spirit is even more important.
We must prepare for the eternal world.
The wealth of this world is a transient existence that will disappear at some point. However, God has bestowed upon us the tremendous blessing of eternal life that cannot be compared to the riches of this world. It seems most important not to forget this fact, as the moment we cling to this world, we distance ourselves from God.
It is God’s will to live looking at heaven, not worldly things. Let us finish the journey which is laid out for us without looking back to the world. And let’s go to heaven in WMSCOG.
The soldiers of Christ are not bound by the world. We will achieve heaven by spreading the word of the new covenant gospel.
