Surely The Day Is Coming

The bible says that God made known the end even from the beginning. This means God planned everything out from the start and He is doing everything according to the plan he has made before the creation of the world.

The problem is, however, that there are people who do not trust in the words of God and think that it is not true. In the time of Lot, God allowed Lot and his family to flee from the oncoming disaster. And Lot told to his sons-in-law about the disaster God planned for Sodom and Gomorrah. However, they thought that their father-in-law was joking and they got destroyed by the fire.

Today too, even though they see the sign that God is fulfilling everything according to the plan, there are people who do not believe in the words of God, saying that there is no such disaster as it is described in the bible. It is unnecessary to listen to those teachings of disasters in the bible.

2 Peter 3:3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Even though they don’t want to remember the flood and destruction and they say that there was no disasters and there will be none, we should not listen to them. When the appointed time comes, just as it is written in the bible, it will surely be fulfilled according to the plan of God. Surely the day is coming and we have to prepare for the imminent disaster by listening to the words of salvation recorded in the bible.

Malachi 4:1 Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. ² But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. ³ Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty.
