The Cross & the Sacrifice of Christ
The Israelites had forgotten God’s word that saved them when they were bitten by venomous snakes. Instead, they worshiped the bronze snake for over 800 years, but the bronze snake was broken by Hezekiah. Likewise, the most important matter is that the precious blood of Jesus Christ is the only thing that is able to save mankind. Therefore, we must realize that if we set up the cross, which is only a tool for execution, we will be cursed.
From the Old Testament Times to the Present Day, God Has Forbidden Idolatry
The cross, which had been passed down to Rome since the time of ancient Babylonia, was introduced into the church around AD 431, after Jesus ascended to heaven and all the apostles left. According to the teachings of Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother, who said, “Do not worship idols,” the Church of God does not erect and worship the cross or any other images.
Exodus 20:4–5

The cross is an idol. We must remember the Passover of the New Covenant, which was established at the Sacrifice of Christ.
When looking at the second commandment of the ten commandments which God has commanded us to keep, God wants us not to worship idolatry. As for God’s people, we must not make any form to worship idols instead of God. Then, let’s think about the cross. When thinking of the second commandment, so many Christians worship the cross which they insist that it is just a symbol of church but it is an idol in the sight of God.
In this age, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother have let us know about that. I truly give thanks to Them.
The act of serving the cross is idolatry and disobeys the Word of God. The Church of God does not erect or serve the cross.
Since cross-reverence is idolatry, no one can be saved but will be punished in hell if he sets up or worships the cross. We must walk the upright path of faith in the will of God who forbade idolatry. By keeping the New Covenant established through thr blood of Christ, let us receive eternal life.
The cross reverence is an idol. God commanded us not to make idols in the form of anything. Many churches insist that the cross is a symbol of the church, but in the point of view of God the cross is an idol.
The cross is just a Idolatry which God has forbidden. We must know this fact so that we must not follow to worship the Idol.
WMSCOG is the only church which doesn’t worship the cross Idol.
Our sins have disappeared, Milmiam, with the blood of the crucifixion shed by Jesus.
God commanded us not to make an idol in the form of anything.
So, we must not make an idol in the form of anything and worship it.
The cross also cannot be an exception.
Making a cross is to disobey God’s commandment.
In Deuteronomy 4:2, God told us not to add or take away from God’s Word. We must obey the God’s word and never make anything in any shape.
We need to discern what we worship in churches when we believe in God.
The cross is the symbol of the sun god.
Jesus did not save us through the cross, but led us to salvation through the blood shed on the cross. Therefore, worshiping the cross is idolatry. In order to receive salvation, you must keep the Passover of the new covenant established by the blood of Jesus’ sacrifice. I hope everyone will keep the Passover of the new covenant.
We should more pay attention to serve the Cross as the sign of God or Church. To serve and worship the cross is an idolatry and it is an idol because this is violated against God’s commandments. We must commemorate God’s sacrifice and blood that shed on the cross rather than its idol, the cross. Let’s worship in God and obey God’s commandments for our salvation.
