The soul exists
God created man with the dust of the ground and the breath of life. The Bible calls then the body and the spirit
Genesis 2:7 [the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.
So, a living man is a combination of the body and the spirit.
What will happen when a man dies?
Ecclesiastes 12:7 [and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.]
When a man dies, our spirit separates from the body and return to God. In other words, death is the separation of the spirit from the body, and not the extinction of the spirit.
Therefore, we have to live for the essence of life, the spirit, rather than for the body. We should live preparing for our spiritual in the heavenly kingdom.

Have you seen the soul? Probably, we haven’t see our souls but must believe in the existence of soul. It’s because that the Bible prophesied that there must be the spiritual world for those who prepare for spiritual life to enter.
The soul exists. Anyone must be saved by the new covenant to live an eternal life in heaven.
The soul absolutely exists. It means that we have to prepare a life of spirit.
And In the WMSCOG we can prepare our spiritual life!
Since the soul definitely exists, the home of the soul we will go to in the future is the kingdom of heaven.
The existence of a soul can be seen through the Bible.
The soul exists. We were with God in Heaven prior to coming to the earth. Therefore, we have to keep the new covenant to go to heaven.
We have the spiritual life after we die. The death means the death of body, not of soul. God came to the earth to give eternal life to mankind. We come to God in the flesh. We should prepare our spiritual life because the physical life is short and the spiritual life is forever.
Which is more important, the body or the soul?
1 Ki 17:21-22 “. . . let this boy’s life return to him!” The LORD heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived.
When the spirit left the boy, he died; but when it returned, he lived.
So, the essence of life is the spirit.
