Christ’s Holy Love Contained in His Precious Blood.

Isaiah prophesied about the humble appearance of Christ 700 years before His coming:

Isaiah 53:1-12
. . . He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. . . .

Though we are the ones who committed sins, Christ suffered the penalty for us. Carrying the burden of our sins, He was pierced and gashed by thorns; He willingly gave up His life on the cross. Jesus clearly demonstrated His love for us. The shedding of His precious blood is definitive proof of His love. That is why the destroying angels, and even the devil, who know the immense love and sacrifice of God, dare not come near us.
The holy love of Christ is contained in the blood of the covenantㅡthe Passover. He gave us life through extreme pain and suffering; His flesh was torn off and His blood was poured out. All creation submits to God because of His immense love and holy sacrifice. The power of to Jesus’ sacrificial blood seals and protects us from all disasters by making them pass over us.

Ps 91:7-11
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways[.]

In the Old Testament, the blood of the Passover lamb was put on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the Israelite’s houses. In the New Testament, however, the blood of the Passover lamb is placed on our foreheads and in our hearts through the New Covenant. So, even if the destroying angel comes, when he sees the blood of Christ, he will pass over us. A thousand may fall at our side ten thousand at our right hand, but no desaster comes near God’s people who are sealed by the precious blood of the Lamb in the truth of the New Covenant Passover. Consequently, we are saved from disasters through the Passover.
