Christ, the Passover Lamb

1 Co 5:7‭-‬8
Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Christ, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed for us by shedding His precious blood. Therefore, as the Bible instructs, we must celebrate this great festival of the Passover.

1 Pe 1:18‭-‬19
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Eph 1:7
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. . .

It is not through our own wisdom and knowledge that we are redeemed and forgiven of our sins, but through the precious blood of Christ. The Bible teaches that salvation cannot come from us, but through precious blood of Christ.
