Part 1: The identity of the False Prophets

You know what? About 2000 years ago, Jesus prophesied that so many false prophets would appear in the last days we are living in.

Mt 24:3, 24 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, ‘when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great sings and miracles to deceive even the elect-if that were possible. 

Jesus’ disciples asked what would happen when He comes again in the last days. Among them, Jesus prophesied that false prophets would appear and perform great sings and miracle things to deceive so many souls, even God’s people.

Today, so many false prophets , who deceive and destroy our souls, have appeared as it is prophesied in the Bible.

That’s why Jesus taught us that watch out for the false prophets to devour our souls.  However, It is very difficult to know between the false prophets and the true prophets.

Mt 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 

The word of Jesus tells us that the false prophets come to us in sheep’s clothing. It means that they pretend to be the true prophets sent by God.  Outwardly they appear as gentle sheep so that it is hard to recognize the false prophets. However, we must know that they are ferocious wolves who kill sheep. That’s why Jesus taught us that watch out for false prophets who kill our souls.

Then, how can we know or recognize who false prophets or not are?

Mt 15:7-8 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. 

Hypocrites are the ones who honor Jesus with their lips but their hears are far from Him. It’s because that their teachings are based on the commandments of Men. Jesus said that they worship in vain. We need to know more in detail about the commandments of Men which lead us to the way to destruction. In order to know about that, we should know what the commandments of God which Jesus established for our salvation first.
